Plays

Writing

A playwright page that reads like a body of work, not a menu.

Director workspace

As a writer, I craft new works steeped in San Francisco's queer lineage, the humor and trauma of growing up, and the mythmaking instinct of communities fighting to be seen.

My scripts explore identity, place, lineage, and the strange, electric theater of being alive.

Production notes

Each piece begins with questions that won't let go. What happens when memory becomes movement? How do we honor the stories that shaped us without being trapped by them? What does it mean to create work that's both deeply personal and urgently political?

Spirals & Dirt

In development / staged readings

An exploration of movement, memory, and the stories we carry in our bodies.

A staged reading of Sean Breen's powerful new work that invites audiences into a world shaped by memory, resilience, and the unexpected ways we grow through what breaks us. With focus on language, performance, and shared imagination, the piece offers a first look at a story that's finding its legs and its heartbeat.

The Stations

Triptych

A series of plays designed as a pilgrimage through space, memory, and moral weather.

Originating in the labyrinth of San Francisco's Grace Cathedral and performed by Cathedral School for Boys, The Stations is a triptych of short movement pieces exploring ritual, reflection, and unexpected spaces. Part site-specific performance and part spiritual journey, it invites audiences to experience theatre as pilgrimage.
